Couple questions...

The OSO I am going to only has one SNA slot for the PLC I want to attend, and someone else has qualified for it. He said that I can compete for the slot, but was sort of vague, I think he might have said it just so I wouldn't drop joining or something (I wouldn't). If I were to take the ASTB and outscore the person who qualified already, and my application/PFT were better, could I take the slot? Or is it that the first qualified person wins.

The other question is about eyes... I'm 20/25 R 20/60 L correctable to 20/20 (went to MEPS a couple weeks ago). When would I need to get my eyes corrected?.... Before PLC? before I can even get a flight contract? or is between PLC and commisioning OK?

All contracts are submitted together, there is no first come first serve... they are all evaluated and then judged upon in that requard. That said it isn't all about PFT / ASTB score, there are MANY factors that enter into the equation that must be considered...

Eyes - do a search for the current vision requirements on this board...
