So an officer applicant with the USMC can get an aviation contract which guarantees--obvioulsy--an aviation MOS. Does the applicant get a guarantee to a particular MOS upon selection, i.e. WSO, pilot etc. or does that come later?

I guess when a Navy applicant submits he/she puts in for either pilot or NFO within the aviation field. Does the Marine Corps work the same or does the aviation guarantee a certain field within the entire aviation community?

Dumb question I suppose but the info i have seems ambiguous. Thanks

when you get a flight contract it will be for either a sna or snfo. otherwise you will just be ground contract.
