I lived at Crestview while I was in API. Not a bad deal. Management was ok, theres some nice looking ladies in the office, but they tried to screw me over on the whole military clause thing. Oh, and the apartments on a whole are smaller than anywhere else in the area, and VERY little storage. I also heard of a few of their buildings having some bad bug problems.
Good area to be in though, if you need to have a mall/shopping area nearby. Theres a handful of decent bars there too, although the best ones are either downtown or on the beach.
Traffic wasn't so bad from there to NASP, for Apool you leave before the morning rush, and hey, lets face it, you tend to get back before the morning rush. To NASWF is a different story. As I said I LIVED there. It wasn't worth the drive every damn day.
The only REALLY good reason to choose this place above anywhere else in that area of P'cola is the proximity to O'Reillys. It's a five minute walk without crossing any major roads, and always had good beer cheap. If you want to spend your Apool time drunk as a skunk, and then shoot for a Corpus slot so you can get out of the lease easier, try this place.
In the end, theres much nicer places that are comparable in price, in that same exact area your looking. Try Governers Gate. Lots of flight students there. Or even Crestview at Oakleigh, that place is the same ownership but much nicer place overall. Crestview @ Cordova had a handful of military, and ALOT of starving college students. Not many flight students though.
