Picked this up in an e-mail today. Thought someone might be interested. Original source (e.g., the "I" in the note) is not known to me, so I can't vouch for him/her.
Tonight (6 May) I was working with some U.S. Customs guys from Corpus Christi and they said that the JAX office is hiring 6 people within the next two weeks to run the radars in their P-3s (E-2 knock offs). They are looking for guys with E-2 "Mole"or RIO time. The positions are GS-11 to start then GS-12 within a year. With overtime for being on 8-10 day dets, they pay comes to about $100K per year. No ground job means a LOT of down time in the office when not flying. POC is Tom Heldeubrand (361) 594-5000.
V/R, Spike (Again, I'm not the "I" in the note...)
