CW Qualification questions

I've read a lot about the process to become a CW, but I'm not sure what people mean when they say, "Get your CW / IDC qual." What is the process to get qualified? What does one have to do to meet these requirements and get a pin? Hoping someone could explain more.

Quick question: Did you Google + research this first?

Hint: See above.

I did and found from Google/Reddit that the process takes a total of 36 months (18 for the CW + 18 for the IWO). However, I couldn't find any resources talking about what the qualification itself entails. There doesn't seem to be a lot of information online about it so I was hoping if someone here knew, they would be able to help out.
