Prior enlisted: IS1 (SW/AW) 5yrs active, 1 1/2 Reserve
Preferences> 1. SNA

GPA: 3.508 UNC Pembroke (BS Physics), Graduate May 11'
ASTB: 6/6/5 50 (took the test 6 yrs ago just after high school)
PRT: 9:10 min run, 78 push ups, 80 sit ups

HS athletics (4 years varsity wrestling, 2 years captain)
-NC High School Wrestling Offical
-Private Pilot SEL (solo-6hrs, earned-36.2 hrs)
-Tutor Calculus and Diff. Equations
Motivational Statement: on point

Hey fyi,
Only boards scheduled for Dec as of right now are supply and the other staff corps. And Dec is notorious for being slow and or cancelled as half the month is a holiday. I would shoot for Nov if you can.

Thanks for the info. I can't apply until I separate from reserves, Nov 14th. I'll will likely miss that deadline. I guess January then.

Try for a form 368, conditional release.. granted I'm IRR though, I got mine signed in 3 days..

If you apply for an SNA slot, does the SNA board ONLY care about your AQR and PFAR scores or will they look at your ASTB scores as a whole and place the most weight on PFAR?

The PFAR, AQR, and OAR score is the only used for SNA, FOFAR, the third is used for NFO

If you pick up a ASTB book at Barnes and Noble, it explains what each score is about. This is where I got my info. OAR tests academic sucess in OCS, AQR and PFAR test success in API and Primary. Can't remember which goes with which though. I was going to retake the test, but the recruiter said it's good enough to submit.
