Two journalists subpoenaed in effort to find the source of a leak about changes imposed after failed plane bombing.
This could raises some good questions regarding who the "press" is or isn't and what constitutes being a journalist. I did a quick search online to see what came up for the legal definition of a journalist (if there is such a thing). I came across a couple different sites and decided to check Merriam-Webster for what they had to say. They all pretty much matched up. The following is from Merriam-Webster:
1. A person engaged in journalism; especially :
a. a writer or editor for a news medium
b. a writer who aims at a mass audience
2 : a person who keeps a journal
I see anyone who writes a blog or even those of us writing here on this forum fitting within the definitions above.
