I know he's not an Aviator, but he was still a fine officer who served his country with distinction. Rest in peace Major.

He was mostly known from the series Band of Brothers. He was a great American and it is truly a sad day to hear of his passing. You are not forgotten, sir.

I remember reading about him long before Band of brothers, Also If you ever get a chance there a slew of books written by the other men of easy company too.
