do i need an FAA physical if Im IFS complete?

does anyone know if I need to get or should get the FAA 3rd class physical before I report for API? I wouldn't figure I need it if I'm not doing IFS and getting the NOMI physical...

You do not need the FAA physical because you won't be going through IFS.

Just a quick heads up for anyone else who is NOT IFS complete, DON'T go pay for an FAA physical out in town to try and speed things up once you get to P'Cola. They are sending everyone to branch to get them done and not allowing them out in town. You're just wasting your money which could be much better spent on booze/hookers and blow.
