Does the Board take into account the number of times you take the ASTB?

I was hoping anyone with reliable information would provide me with some insight into whether or not the selection board can see how many times you have taken the ASTB? If they can, do they give less credit to an applicant who has take the test more times than once? Thanks.

I took it twice and I'm a pilot now. I don't think they care, as long as you pass.

I took it twice as well. I didn't even say anything about it in my package. I don't know if they see the first one at all or just see the scores you got on your most recent.

my packet is being submitted and I think only my most recent scores went in.

I'll give it to you this way: When I was proofing packages last summer prior to them being sent to Millington, there were only one set of scores in each packet, and I know some of the applicants took the test more than once.

I think when the NRD goes into the computer to print out your score report, only the most recent scores even show up.

Yeah, only the last score you get counts...... Lets say you score a 8/8/8 70 oar, and retake the test (dont know why you would with these scores), and get a 5/5/5 62 oar.... the 5/5/5 62 is the one that counts. So be careful! You can only take each version of the ASTB 3 times in your life. Make em count.

I took it 3 times and did the worst on my 3rd try. Im pretty sure they look at your most recent score and Im an SNA now so dont stress out about it.
