I was born in south america and still hold a citizenship for my home country along with my american citizenship. will i be accepted for ocs if i hold dual citizenship, or do i have to renounce my home countries citizenship? If so how n the heck do i go about doing that and how long does it take?

Last I heard you have to renounce your other citizenship status to be a commissioned officer. Not sure how you do it. Check with the other country.

I'll be putting my application before the board in October and I'll be offering to renounce my Canadian Citz. It is required according to my recruiter.
