So I'm pretty sure that the Hawkeye has windows on the fuselage...but are they ever in use or covered? Can't imagine being an NFO in a windowless fuselage during landings. :eek:

Never been on an E-2, but I have been stuffed in the back of a COD. It wasn't a particularly pleasant experience.

Windows are only covered when the radar is operating. Can't see too much when they're open anyway, mostly the starboard engine. Recovering at the boat goes like this: water, water, water, water, hornet, tower, stop!
