Enlisted wait time more than civilian?

For those currently enlisted applying, how soon were you notified that you were accepted from the month your package went up for review? If you for instance, made the June board, how long would it take them to tell you that you made it after June? Would they tell you that you weren't accepted immediately?

I'm being real careful not to ruffle chain of command feathers, but I'm very close from calling CNRC directly.

Im in the same boat. My command still has not notified me. You know they want to make it a big deal. So I would expect some type of all hands quarters if they are going to tell you.

Quite a while

I applied in August, went through the three-officer board in November, have been on hold since December. I recieved news June 30th for my class starting 17AUG07.

So basically, it too me almost a year from applying to the doorstep of OCS.

Not sure why the wait was so long for you all. My wife applied and her package was reviewed by the April board, and she was notified the beginning of May. She was actually asked if she wanted to go to OCS on like May 19th, but that was too soon to get our shit together before she left. As far as waiting on selection results go, you can have an E-7 or above call them and ask. You just can't call yourself, so ask your LCPO to call them or email them.

^^ Good advice. Even my upper chain of command is getting a little antsy. I just can't think of anything else at the moment, I've never wanted anything more. I spend all my free time surfing Airwarriors and USNavyOCS.com :)

Can someone explain this to me?

I'm currently putting my OCS package together, with the goal of sending it off in October. I know 3 officers, at least 1 in the designator applying for, must interview me. I don't know anything about a 3 officer board after the package is sent, though.
