I already searched and found one thread for Visian ICL, and that was for pilots, which I am not interested in. For the Restricted Line Officers, does it matter what type of eye surgery you get? I am considering getting Visian ICL for a couple reasons. I am disqualified from Lasik, and a borderline candidate for PRK as my corneas are just barely there for surgery, but surgery wasn't a definite yes when I last talked to the surgeon (before 2014). And lastly, I'm currently living abroad in Brazil now (since 2014). Whether I get PRK or Visian ICL, I can get it for a whole lot cheaper here than in the USA (medical tourism). And yes, I would go to a qualified doctor with a good reputation, not in some dingy favela room. My left eye is -8.5 and my right eye is -7. Thanks.
