I looked this up and saw some wildly varying answers across the internet. The last post I could find about this on AW is over a decade old (forgive me if I’m wrong) and I’m just curious what you fine aviators think about the Rhino’s future as of now.

Questions you can choose to ignore or answer:
It’s my dream to fly the F/A-18, but if a squadron retires them before your contract expires I assume you will just re-qual in the F-35? Or would you just transfer to any remaining F/A-18 squadron?

The Super Hornet will be in use through the 2030s. As such, not something you need to worry about. Problem solved.
