For an education...I suggest anyone curious to research the R-3350 and B-29 growing pains. Main spar burn throughs, catastrophic failures, etc, ...

It's all good, afterall, Congress paid the money to develop the second JSF engine... Oh yeah, that's right, DOD killed it and Obama was going to veto any bill that had funding for a second JSF engine.
Glad this one is not having any teething pains!!

Yeah, because Congress was utilizing foresight, and not opportunism, when it funded the second engine!
