Just a quick tax question, my stripend I received in the fall was not on my W-2, should I still claim it and were taxes withheld from it?

Thanks,
Matt

I think it's right around $1700 per semester. Some training must be completed to qualify. I could be wrong...anybody?

Could be wrong, but i think stipends are tax free... thats what I recall from ROTC at least.

You do NOT have to claim your stipend on taxes

Thank you very much, sir!

Yes, stripend is a little over $1700/semester for the first year after OCS and it increases each year.
