Package has been a long time in the making and am finally getting able to route it through my Chain of Command for any discrepancies with it, before its sent up to the skipper and gets final approval and sent off. All of the legwork has already been done and I wrote something really nice for my CO to start with, hope it all goes well.

24/m
ASTB 5/5/5/53
6.5+years AD AE2/E-5
PRT: two Good-High, most recent Excellent Low
Interviews: 4 USN 0-5's, Pilots and NFO's, two of them E-2C CO's all 10's
LoR's: 3 from 0-6's two are Cags, one is CO of something(forget right now)
Graduated Saint Leo University
Criminal Justice Major w/Homeland Security emphasis 3.723GPA
EVALS: (#13)MP/EP(#4)/EP(#2) All out of 72

Appling for SNA only.

Starting to think that getting my diploma was the easy part LOL.

Trying not to build myself up and think I have that GREAT of a chance, don't wanna get crushed.

Thanks.

One thing I have noticed that seems to benifit us active duty guys is that we do all of the physical stuff first making it no so stressful after the pro-rec.

oh ya, I'm aware of that, I am referring to not as much up and down once my package is submitted. Because I've already been found qualified for the designator I am applying for, because I have to already do a prt, and a flight physical prior to apping.

Good luck man. Those sound like some good LOR's, those are huge for priors.

Yeah, well. The Dude abides.
sorry, but as soon as I saw the title, I was like, that's what she said...

proceed :)

This really isn't a good one. Wait for a thread like "help improve my package" or "is my package good enough," those sorts of things.

Or you can just use something like a HUMMER thread, which I swear to God I thought it was not about the car.

With "ASTB 5/5/5/53" you may want to consider SNFO as option two...

I thought about that, I work on E-2's tho, i've seen what they do, I don't wanna do that.

What exactly is it that you "don't wanna do" as an NFO?

F/A-18F doesn't suck.

NFO gets the same paycheck and chance at command as a pilot.

So, as it turns out one of the first class's that just got to my command less than a year ago is routing his OCS package the same week that I am routing mine, sigh. Worse things could happen.
