Finding a Recruiter in the Wash D.C. area

Hi all,

I graduate next semester and I was planning on applying to ether Navy or Army Reserve OCS. However, However, I'm having trouble finding the contact information for a Navy Officer Recruiter in the Washington Capital Area where I currently live.

I also was wondering how do I first make contact with a recruiter? I was just planning on sending them an email w/my cover letter/resume to catch their attention tbh.

If anyone could help me I would appreciate it!

Thank you,

That would be NRD Richmond if I remember correctly, you should be able to google that and get the number.

If I read your post right you are looking at USNR? In general new college graduates have almost no chance of getting commissioned as officers in the Navy Reserve, the USNR looks for officers with experience in the field they are going into either by being prior military or extensive civilian experience.

Cover letters/resume's do no good, just give them your name, email, number, degree and GPA. If you have a tech degree and high GPA expect a call back quick!! If non tech flip a coin, some NRD's respond fast, some don't.

No Sir,

I am looking at both Active Duty Navy OCS and Army OCS(Reserve Option) Separately. Apologies for the confusion I caused.

As soon as the holiday's end I'll try to get the OR's attention using the way you
described.

Thank you for your advice!
