I am interested in speaking with an OSO, but have not had too much luck locating one in my area (central California, right near USMC Mountain Warfare Training Center in Sonora Pass). I filled out the online request for more information at Marines.com, but have not heard anything back. I interviewed at length with an enlisted recruiter back in high school, but chose not to enlist at that time, so maybe they aren't considering my request a priority. Does anyone know of an online directory of OSO offices? I am hoping to be accepted to PLC next summer, and just wanted to get the ball rolling. Thanks in advance.

I went through the sacramento OSO. He covered a pretty big area, I went to Davis but we had guys from Chico and Reno as well. You're probably not in that OSO's area, but you might be. Even if you're not, he would definetly give you the legit contact info for the OSO you would fall under. And don't worry about talking to a recruiter but not enlisting, the OSO's have no idea about it and would not count it as a negative if they did, at least based on my experience with the whole deal.

Thanks everyone. According to marines.com, there is a recruiter in Carson City, NV. Not sure about an OSO, but I am hoping they can point me in the right direction.
