It was like a tearful made for TV coming of age movie, I laughed, I cried it was better than Cats

Seriously though,
I dont think my first deployment changed me much it was just really frustrating being stuck in Japan when SEpt 11th happened and bad guys needed some killin. I know others got to do it but it sucked being left out of the fight.
Later deployments were better. Liberty is usually good.
