I recently applied to Navy OCS and was accepted for my second choice with an NFO slot. My first choice was Explosive Ordinance Disposal, which my recruiter told me was full for the fiscal year. If I'm going to be in the air I would like to be piloting, so I'm considering having the eye surgery and waiting until October to re-apply for EOD and as an aviator, with NFO as my third option. I'd like to hear any feedback to these plans. I don't really know much about the PRK surgery, so any info, ie. cost, effectiveness, drawbacks, ect, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. John
