Do any of ya'll know how to get the sheets for the flight crew checklist notebook. In particular, the ones with fire support info such as call for fire. I ordered the notebook thinking the sheets came with it. Fat chance. Any help appreciated.

If you're are enrolled in DEERS, you can download the FAC/FAC A handbook from the MCI webpage. It will have NATO, USMC/USN, USAF CAS line briefs. Mortar/Arty/Naval Gunfire COF briefs etc. Hopefully that helps but if your not enrolled in DEERS then you probably don't need the info. Semper Fi! Frumby

You'll get plenty of instruction on CFF and CAS at TBS.

I appreciate the replies. I am a scout observer(0861) in the reserves. Frumby, not exactly sure what you mean regarding DEERS, but what you mentioned sounded like what I may be looking for. Some of it may be applicable when working SEADs and the like.

If you're an 0861 then you are enrolled in DEERs and you can download. In other words, your SSN will be recognized by the USMC as a valid Marine SSN. The handbook is what I teach my TACP (Tactical Air Control Party) Marines from in regards to all 9 line briefs and missions. A really great pub especially if you are interested in SEAD is produced by TTECG or Tactical Training and Exercise Control Group, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, 29 Palms. The handbook is the Fire Support Team (FiST) Techniques and Procedures Handbook, Febuary 2002. I think you can download it but you can also call the Coyotes and ask them to send you a copy. The handbook deals directly with the integration of all Fire Support Agencies and different ways to prosecute targets specifically with combined arms. It explains clearly different SEAD missions to include Standard Continuous and interrupted and NonStandard prosecution. It is a great pub and I use it religously. Lots of diagrams and pictures for in the field, hip pocket classes. If you have a problem obtaining the pub from the Coyotes, let me know. Email me directly because I'm going overseas in a couple of days and will not be able to check this site. I will be in 29 Palms from 3 May-17 May and would be glad to grab you a copy or copies and have them sent to your unit. Frumby
