I am not an aviator, and my only link to the aviation community is decidedly narrow (as a 6114 Huey/Cobra Mech/Plane Captain), but doesn't that seem like a slightly broad question to ask?

I am certain that the fly time one would receive as a KC-130 FRS Instructor, would probably be incredibly different than the fly time a Huey pilot would get.

Yeah, you are right sorry, let me try to make it more specific, though it still may be vague. I mean, say, during the times of when "all is well" (as in no major conflicts, etc...) and pilots more fly for pure practice and such, on average, how much time in the air would a fighter pilot or attack helicopter pilot (as I assume a cargo helicopter pilot or cargo plane would get more flight time since they are always needed regardless) get in the air per month?

Don't quote me on this, but I think the minimum for all pilots is 15 hours so they can get their Aviation Pay while in garrison. As far as deployments go, I would imagine they get a **** load of hours. Clearly, with current operation commitments the Corps is spread thin so depends on where you are. Just keep in mind, the Corps treats their Officers as Officers first then as pilots. While on the rear, pilots have two maybe three billets that they handle in their squadrons so, they are busy (i.e. S-1, S-2, S-3, S-4, Maint Officer), . While deployed, things change and they focus on flying only. It's not like the Army Warrant Officers were they focus on flying and that's it.
