In conjunction with the Centennial of Naval Aviation, Erik Hildebrandt is publishing a new book called, "Fly Navy: Celebrating the First Century of Naval Aviation." HJ mentioned it in the Speed and Angels thread back in February. For those not familiar with his work, check out http://www.vulturesrow.com ... really neat stuff! A few might be familiar with the tribute he did when the Tomcat sundowned ... I think I remember first reading about HJ in the forward, actually.

Anyways, here's a link to the preorder page if you are interested: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0967404088/ref=oss_product

And here's a sneak preview of some of the pics that our squadron did with him for the book: http://www.vulturesrow.com/HSC22. Anyone else have links to other previews for their squadron shoots?

Thought it might be fun to start a thread with pics that might be in the book (or ones that you think should be).

And this just in...due to budget cutbacks the Navy can no longer afford the 1.0 of flight time to have a fly-by at the Centenial of Naval Avaition ceremony.

Don't worry, the Reserves will pick up your slack...again. (smiles, of course)
