By this time of year in 1943, The VMF-214 Black Sheep Squadron had successfully completed their first 6-week combat tour in the Solomons, and survived a week of R&R in Sydney, Australia.
Pappy's squadron received a large group of new Pilots to join them for the 2nd combat tour, which began on November 27th.
In recognition of this bit of naval aviation history, I'd like to raffle off a free DVD of "Pappy Boyington Field".
You can enter the raffle by sending an email to info@pappyboyingtonfield.com
Put "AirWarrior raffle" in the subject line, and include your name in the email.
It'll be open through the 27th, and the winner of the raffle will be mailed the DVD.
Good luck,
