Interesting. I have heard that the modern French military is actually pretty damn good despite their past and the diplomatic leftism of Shirac's time. This will help to offset some of the white liberal guilt that has allowed the infestation of the Paris ghettos.

FWIW, I'm learning French right now on Marinenet/Rosetta Stone. That way when TSHTF I can go join the foreign legion. But in the mean time maybe I can score FLP pay and a tour with the French Air Force/Navy.
