Pilot Bonus is staying at 125K over 5 years
NFO Bonus is reduced to 75K over 5 years
Rumor is the Hornet pilots are all jumping ship, and NFO's are all staying. That is why the pilot bonus is staying at 125.
Some other reductions for Command at Sea, etc.. and all 0-6's lose their bonus. The other interesting piece is that Congress has said that the bonus will be reviewed on a year to year basis. I thought this had always occurred but, my XO said that has never happened before.
A Captain at Pers-43 e-mailed the above information to our Commodore, who sent it to our CO/XO. Our XO was kind enough to pass the information along to the JO's. The NAVADMIN has not been released yet, but should be out this week.
