Puddlz

Where's the head?
pilot
I got out of the Corps last August and I'm finally get around to cleaning out my closet. Most of the stuff I gave to a cousin that's still in, but I have a few uniform items left if anyone's interested. Send me a PM and let me know if you want something and what you're willing to pay for it. I'm more interested in cleaning out the closet than making any money. And Marines only please....I'll be double checking with MOL to see if you are who you say you are.

Items left
Green Service Sweater (wooly pully) size 48
3 Short Sleeve Khaki shirts size XL
3 Long Sleeve Khaki shirts size 17
Service Jacket 44L
Blues Jacket 44L
White slacks 34/34
2 pair of green service slacks 34/34
All weather coat 44L

This is probably the best way to go about getting rid of old uniforms..

You wouldnt believe how many uni's you can find in a surplus store with stripes and insignia still on em..

guess some people just wanna make it easy for the skeeters of the world..

Did they include wearing unearned rank or insignia in the Stolen Valor Act? Or is that just for medals and such?

Sorry bout the threadjack.

I believe it's some type of offense to impersonate an officer. Not sure if that refers to commissioned, warrant, non-commissioned, or all of the above.

Impersonating an officer is not the same as the Stolen Valor act. It falls under sections 771 and 772 of the USC. However unless you benefit from it monetarilly which goes to 912, then it is uneforcable. Stolen Valor act is some jackass walking into a bar with a Navy Cross pinned to his shirt and talking about how he personally tacked Saddam. As bad as it is, I don't know if a district attorney will prosecute that either.

Ok, there is my Sea-Lawyering for the month.
