Goshawk II?

Maybe I missed something, but is there any reason by the T-45 is not known as the Goshawk II? :confused: The first Goshawk would be the Curtiss F11C-2, a biplane fighter from way back when.

they didnt feel like it... it's probably because it's a BAe plane and not an american corperation so they felt it unnecessary to redesignate the nickname

While I don't know the validity of that, it makes some sense.
