I grad. seniors back this past summer and will be commissioning in May. This post is mainly to say that since I grad., there has been some excitement about may and all, but when I was at the exchange getting fitted and trying things on it really hit me. Then when I got the final product and put on the uniform, its just hard to explain. Im mainly writing to tell those of you who are just starting out in the PLC program that and have along ways to go that it will all pay off eventually if you stick in it. Ive been in the program for 4 years now almost and i am on count down to May 12th, so I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Good luck to all the future PLC'ers.

hide those butterbars in the deepest, darkest corner of your most unused drawer. dont even look at them, actually, dont even think about them!!! haha. jk, but seriously don't jinx yourself. make sure the uniform fits, but dont go taking photos and posting them on facebook like some idiots. unless of course there's a fine female wearing them.

Nah I def. will not be doing that. I wont rate that uniform until May 12. Plus I would catch a lot grief from my sister Lcpl and brother who is a ssgt.

Just wait until TBS, when you have to get them re-tailored about every month, and won't wear them again for another year, when you can't believe how skinny you must've been at TBS.
