GPA question

Hi everyone. I hope I posted this in the right section...I did a search and couldn't find anything that helped me with my question.

I will graduate from UF in the summer of 2007 with a degree in Marketing. My problem is that my GPA (2.37) isn't good at all. I still have six classes left to take and will try my best to raise it up to a 3.0, hopefully better.

Here is my question. Can I include my community college GPA into my final GPA when I apply? I recieved my AA from Santa Fe Community College with a GPA of 3.45.

BTW, I'll be applying for SNA/SNFO.

Thanks, Daniel

Yes you can include your community college GPA in your application for OCS--in fact, you will have to do so. You have to include in your application kit transcripts from all of the post-secondary institutions you have attended (I had 4 transcripts). I was told that all grades are averaged to reach a "composite" GPA.

Exactly right - hooray for Physics II at U of S Florida .... No way I could have seen an "A" at my school...

Thanks guys, that's really good news.

I'm still going to see how high I can raise it in my last few classes though...

I am sort of in a similar position. My GPA when I sent in my application was only about a 2.9. I was told that for people applying to go straight to OCS (i.e. not BDCP) test scores are a little more important than GPA.

Best advice anyone can give you is: go see a recruiter, apply early, apply often, and apply until you get in.
