Has anyone seen this F/A 18 for sale? If I had the extra money I'd buy it. Only lightly used by the Blue Angels. Only 3793 hours of airframe time.

..how can this sh..t happen..the last thing we need is Top secret documents (from this area)...on ebay...How can top officials...say yes to..have an a F-18 on ebay...It will be ok if the navy gave the F-18 to a museum...And also what makes me mad is that companies that build missiles or projects for the military have good details of the projects in the web sides..I think is wrong...yea don't forget discovery wings
I'm not sure I understand what you're mad about. The fact that someone can buy an F-18 online? From what I could see it was nothing but a bunch parts, but they would assemble it for 9mil. I think the gov. got on it and stopped them from posting that. F-18's aren't top secret though, are they?
Did yall not see the other post about the F-18 on Ebay? There's lots of posts there already. Last time I checked the F-18 in question was back up for auction "pending prior sale."
Go to Ebay.com, and search using the word "hornet". Then click on the "price" link to sort the auctions by the highest price. That should pull it up for you to take a look at.
it is legal to have a fighter craft, you just have to have a type rating from the FAA, aslo the FAA has to aprove it. Also the plane is de-militrized, not hard points, firing ciructs, etc... I know a guy that owns a MiG 27 here. (i think it's a 27)
As for everybody being "scared", I think the media just wants all the soccer moms of the nation worried that some wacko is going to bomb something with it. More ratings that way . . .
