HOW DO I STACK UP?

Greetings,

I have been lurking around the sight for a while, tons of useful info here. Thanks to all.
So here's whats hurting my head...
Have been enlisted now for 3 years, I finally feel like my package would be somewhat strong enough. I am hoping to shoot for SWO or Supply. I am involved in a number of command collateral's, community involvement has not been up to par on account of deployment (but I'm working on that), I have 2 NAM's under my belt and a BS in business. My COC all have given me their word on LOR's.

Issues:
Just turned 30 years of age
Entered the Navy on drug waiver (POM)
Also got into a bit of trouble at 13 (shooting people with BB guns)...expunged.

...All seems like innocent preteen shenanigans but I know in the eyes of a selection board committee they can all be deal breakers.

Note: I have not taken the OAR yet, I know given the aforementioned it is imperative that I score high enough to offset the negatives. Also, the Navy is well aware of my past as it was uncovered when in my DEP days (an investigator came to my house and asked a f*ck ton of questions about the BB gun incident).

I guess I really want to know if I even have a fighting chance. Thanks.

Have you tried the search function? If the answer is no and very likely no, please do so. It's very likely your question or something similar has been answered in the past. Furthermore, there's a thread already dedicated to stats and how folks stack up. As a potential future officer, you are and will be expected to seize the initiative and look up answers and solutions for yourself.

yes use the search function then you can ask more directed questions on the specific threads, I would search for max age first, and you have mentioned the negatives that will have an effect, but the positive things you mentioned aren't really positive things when it comes to OCS boards.

Everything can be answered by looking in chapter four of the 1420.1b. Supply is not quick to grant age waivers. SWO might...

Things that matter.
Break out evaluations ( #1 of 30 ranked etc.)
Above a 50 on the OAR

My $.02...
Interviews. Stick to O5 and above. Anything marked below a 10 never happened.
LOR's O6 and above.
