Hurricanes/Pensacola/Flight School

My OSO recently told me that Pensacola NAS was damaged pretty badly by the last couple of hurricanes to come through, including a lot of the flight school buildings/machinery. Has anyone else heard this? And, if so, any idea how it will affect upcoming flight school classes?

There is a TON of info running around this site about this... the problem seems to be that the Navy doesn't know really yet what's going on! However, my friends who are in or have SOs in API have told me that they have been notified to return on Monday to begin training again... some Primary guys have been told to report as early as tomorrow... that's all I know for now...

There seems to be serious talk about bringing the NFO's to Meridian, today an IP said they'll actually be bringing back the sims a scant two months after they got rid of them
