Hey guys,
Well I was pro rec'd back on April 3rd and I now have the results of my PFT, MEPS, and the rest of my final docs into my recruiter. So anyway, I just wanted to sort of get a consensus from those of you out there who've received their final select...How long did you have to wait from the time of your final documents being sent until you received your final select?

For me it was effectively five weeks from when everything was sent in until today when I got word of my final select. Seems from what I've seen that you can figure on three weeks minimum if everything is squeaky clean. For most it's a little longer, for some much longer. Patience my friend; wait until at least May before you start worrying about if you're ever going to hear anything.

Well I shot an email over to my recruiter and he told me that it may take only one week or upwards to one month. I don't know if he's just being skeptical or what...but it seems a little early compared to what the rest of you guys waited.

Recruiter told me that THEY were pressing him for May 15 to have this group's findocs in. (You know how THEY can be . . . )

He gave me a speculative of one month (from late April pro-rec) for Final Select, and one month from there to OCS. That would put me in the June 24 class, I believe (which I think may already be full).

Of course, nothing is definite. I'm just here for the needs of the Navy. . . .

I was sitting here reading navyblue's first post... and his signature said final select... It confused me until I looked at the date =)

Hey HighDimension, yeah I guess that would have looked pretty confusing. Anyway yeah so I got the final select this morning only 2 weeks after FINDOCS were sent in, from the wait times I've been reading about I didn't think that the military could move that fast but apparently so. Anyways just thought I'd add a quick update.
