Hi, im Geoff and im new to this. i am a reservist and going to school when i found out about the program. I have finished my app and taken the ASTB. my scores were a OAR 55 and 5's on the other and my gpa is 3.5 as a meteorology major. I have submitted all of my docs and everything but there has been no sign of my release from the reserves. has anyone else had this problem or is there any advice because this really sucks.

I'm not sure if I'm reading the question correctly. Are you asking if there is a blank concerning your release from the reserves or are you not sure if you should bring it up or what. Help me help you.

I have had 2 different releases sent in and have been constantly asking my recruiter if he knows whats going on and he says its in TN but cant really give me any help. Is there anyway i can contact someone down there and push this along any faster?

The rule of thumb with applying to BDCP is not to go over your recruiter's head and call TN. It's a hurry up and wait process. If I were you, I'd seek a second opinion from one of the recruiters via PM (few still post on this site) but I'd suggest patience.

I was a reservist on the AF side of the house so it might be different. All I had to do is go through my COC to get my conditional release. This consisted of a letter from my recruiter, a couple of forms and a letter from myself explaining the situation. After it was signed I had three months to get accepted or else I had to do another conditional release.

I don't know about Reserves, but if you are using your G.I. Bill, my understanding is that you can't do BDCP.
