Supply Corps - BDCP 2007
I just wanted to give people a heads up that final selects are starting to come down the pipe. I was final selected Supply Corps(BDCP of course). I've posted my stats before so just look at some previous posts for my stats. Good luck to everyone.

Just found out today that I was final selected too! (NFO) According to my recruiter, I was originally up for SNA, but the day I was selected for pilot was the day that the new directive (seen on another post last week) saying no more SNAs through FY06 came through. I was therefore switched to my second choice, NFO.

I'm so stoked! I go swear in next week and will find out my start date then I assume! H*ll yeah!

Congrats! I was final select a couple weeks ago my OCS date is July 28, 2007. Do you know what your OCS dates are?

matt, my ocs date is right about there. I think my processor told me July 16, 2007 or something like that so there is a good chance we'll be at OCS together in 2 1/2 years. You're the only other guy i'm seen with an '07 ocs date.

bigsur, How long did you wait for a final select once you sent in the findocs? Your situation is pretty much the same as mine, college graduate with a pro-rec SNA a few weeks ago with NFO as second choice. Put my findocs in yesterday, anticipation is already killing me.

heynow: We sent out my findocs at the end of October, so 3-4 weeks ago. Longest month of my life. I think I checked my cell phone every 10 minutes that I was awake to see if the recruiter had called. I about had a heart attack yesterday when I saw I had a missed call from him. Going to go swear in next week and find out what my start date is. Can't wait to get out of here and go down to Pensacola. Good luck with your packet too!

Would you be happy with NFO even if you didn't SNA like me? I was so happy about NFO that I wasn't even terribly disappointed about the lack of SNA slots. Upset just a little, but I will get over it that's for sure. #1 goal was to be commissioned anyway!

Well, I put SNA as my number one choice for a reason so I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't be a bit disappointed by NFO. But I'd get over it. Still hypothetical for me though, so at this stage so I won't count my NFO slots before they're hatched. I'd definitely be interested to know your OCS date when you find out. And congratulations since I forgot to mention it last time.
