His name is *edit* Not sure he'd want his name online like that *edit* out of the Nashville, tn office, he has helped me above and beyond along the way, everything has been ok'd and we are just waiting for my ocs date.....

my question is what to do for a good recruiter, any traditional way of showing gratitude?

Glad you feel that way and want to reward him. I have been around recruiter for many years. Can't say there is any traditional way of thanking a recruiter for good work and honest counseling. I wish I had a silver dollar for everyone I put in the Navy, like the first salute silver dollar. I am sure he would be happy with couple nice letters from OCS to update him on the program and a photo or two of you, especially at commissioning. If you are so inclined, and are sure he is the type to appreciate it, you could always buy him a bottle of his favorite liquor. That is pretty much the universal thank you gift in the Navy. I still remember buying the bottle of top shelf gin for the pilot that took me to the boat the first time.
