IFS and PRK

I'm waiting to report to API and my eyes are right on the 20/40 border, so as opposed to getting there and possibly not making the cut, I was thinking of getting PRK while I wait. Heres the question, can I fly IFS during the three month waiting limit, do I have to wait the three months after, and are they even still giving PRK waivers, etc.? Thanks.
