Information in DEP Guide to Success

My recruiter told me there was a discrepancy in the Guide to Success with regard to one of the general orders of a sentry, although he wasn't sure which one or what the problem was. I compared the guide's version to the one on the Great Lakes site and didn't see any differences. So, is there actually a problem with the guide (any part of the Big 4), or will I be ok if I start memorizing everything?

There are subtle differences between the DEP book and what you will actually learn at OCS. Start studying, I studied the DEP book and it took reading the OCS version maybe 2 or 3 times to memorize the different words. Don't sweat it, thats just my .02 cents.

I did the same thing. I hope they have it updated for you guys now, but even so, the changes were very minor. Literally words like "that" "if" and the like. The gist is the same, and you'll be way ahead of the game if you study before going down there.
