Initial Security Clearance

You know the initital security clearance that you fill out with your ocs application? When do you find out if you are cleared for it? Thanks

DSS can take up to a year for clearances to go through, but interim's are granted much faster.

If you get a professional recommendation from your respective board, then you cleared the security check. Worried?

This doesn't seem correct. I have a prof. rec. for NFO, and I have not yet submitted the security/background information yet.

I'm talking about the initial security questionnaire... NOT the EPSQ. Unless the process has changed, the initial questionnaire went up with your first set of documents. Then, after the pro-rec, you send in your EPSQ.
