Think of it this way. A pair of those "Gloves" and a modified flightsuit might make dry suits a thing of the past. Another thing is that the "Glove" technology may allow soldiers in the desert to function better and reduce the amount of water that they need. As far as the suspended animation goes, it may be possible to put a gas mixture into something like a HEEDS bottle and have a medic administer it to a wounded soldier in the field to extend the amount of time that they have to get him to a hospital.

Man if I'd only had that glove when I ran the Ironman....I could've done it backwards!

I remember seeing this "Glove" on TV somewhere. They were talking about it being used on the sidelines of football games (exactly as they said in the article). I didn't even realize the military applications, but it sure would have been nice on a hot day in the engine room in the Persian Gulf.
