Can anyone give some examples of the typical questions that they ask for officer (ocs) endorsement boards? I am currently active duty. Thank you

You are going through an interview?

For some reason I thought I would have to sit in front of a board of people and tell them why I want to be an officer and a pilot, but my recruiter tells me that there is no interview.

He's talking about enlisted folks who do have to go before a board of usually three officers. There are some threads here on AW that have dealt with that, but I would say to be generally well informed on current events, have an idea of how you would respond to questions about your desire to become an officer, as well as some controversial issues like women in the military/combat, etc. When answering those, it's best to toe the Navy line and not go completely off the reservation.

Unless someone like me is on the Board. We were particulary impressed with one guy who told us what he really thought of women in the military. His honesty was refeshing, compared to the other 3 that parroted to company line.

We reccomended him, and he is in STA-21 now.

However, like Brett said, go against the company line at your own risk!

Yeah, same for me on an individual level. I love out of the box thinking, but you never know how people will go.
