1. Dress nicely, dress trousers, dress button up shirt, and if you really want to go for it, tie and coat..
2. Dont be nervious, it is easy when you are sitting in front of a Marine/Navy Officer, but he is human too
3. Be prepared to explain why you want to be a Marine/Navy Officer
4. Be prepared to explain past leadership experiences that you have had, and what you learned from them.
5. ASK QUESTIONS, think of things you want to ask, it will show the OSO that you really care about being there.
6. BE HONEST WITH YOUR OSO, if he asks you something ,TELL THE TRUTH, if there is anything you think might effect your application GOOD OR BAD, tell him/her.
7. Remember, if you dont get a scholarship you can still do NROTC, I dont have one, i have applied 3 times. and there is always OCS.
That is my advice, I interviewd for the Marine Scholarship, but I am sure the Navy side is the same.
Hope that helps,
GOOD LUCK
