ISEL GPA question

I’m currently looking into the GPA requirements for ISEL as part of the SNA selection process and had a question regarding my school’s grading system. I attend Western Governors University, which follows a competency based, pass/fail model rather than a traditional GPA system. While my transcript includes a note saying that WGU’s grading is equivalent to a 3.0 GPA, it doesn't explicitly assign a GPA.

Given this, would I still meet the GPA requirement for ISEL if I satisfy all other criteria? If not, is there a specific process I need to follow to formally validate my GPA for consideration?

I believe you would need to get your GPA validated and shown on your transcript to qualify for I-SEL. Your recruiter will be able to give you a more detailed answer.

Shouldn’t be a problem, my transcripts were a nightmare lol and I was still selected through ISEL. I attended multiple schools and had some pass fail courses as well using sophia learning.com and Study.com. It’s not a problem it’s more just a hassle for your recruiter to fill out the GPA credit sheet. From what I understand pass fail courses will not affect your gpa positively or negatively which could be a problem if you need to raise it. So as long as your normally graded courses all add up to 3.0 or above you are good. Keep in mind I believe they look at any college credit you have taken not just what is applied to your degree.

All transcripts end up getting a GPA associated with it, even foreign education. Depending on what the calculated GPA is, yes will impact I SEL.
Ask your recruiter if you're working with one.

The registrar should be able to provide a letter that will show your equivalent GPA. Did you attend any other schools? If not that makes it easy, if you did then make sure you submit those transcripts as well.
