While at OCS, my CO was talking about all the great job offers he's had in the civilian world, and the being a naval aviator is the greatest resume builder, making all sorts of CEO's cream their panties. Anyone else had this experience with civilian job offers? And what were they?

Depends on if you are going into an aviation field or not. It is certainly impressive on the resume, but the more important parts are being a military officer, having some type of special operations background, and having an advanced degree.

Lots of jobs. Management in particular. Likewise, if you are able to get into acquisitions, that opens up much of the Beltway. Finally if you are feeling adventurous, State Department has lots of contract jobs in such exotic places as Bogota (Colombia) and Islamabad (Pakistan). If you are thinking about stuff such as this, you probably need to go helos so you will be dual rated. In addition, some time on the ground as a FAC or the like (even IOC) would look good on the resume.

You can also try www.usajobs.com i.e., many of us in the airlines are looking to get out as the profession spirals down......

"Dual rated" means you are qualified to fly airplanes and helicopters. Graduates from South Field get their ratings in both helos and airplanes, fixed wing guys never get their rotary wing quals and thus are restricted.
