Just passed ASTB, questions

Hey all, i just took and passed the ASTB on my last chance with a 6/6/6 OAR 50, I am at school in south carolina as a junior and have a program set up through the USMC OSO here. First, thank you to all the people who help us new guys out on this site. Second i have a couple questions.

Should I intend to go to OCS this upcoming summer of 06, or OCC after i graduate in 07?

The other question is if theres any good resources for material that should be studied before OCS and where to find it. (I know a couple 300 PFTers who failed because of having to write tons of essays or something).

Thanks for the help and I will do my part to contribute to the forum as my process continues.

Good work on the test. Check with your OSO about study material. I was able to get a lot of material to study before January.

My OSO told me that the summer '06 OCS class is all female (maybe that doesn't affect you), but if it does it may affect your shot at PLC in summer '06. But, I would say the consideration between PLC and OCC would depend on your PFT. The PFT is looked at more strongly as an OCC guy (not that PLC isn't). If your a strong PFT'er then you would be good to go in either case, but if your border line on the PFT then PLC would be a good way to go. Just some thoughts to consider.
