Check out this site put on by the Kurds. They're running some great spots on TV. Check out the vids on their site. Looks like they're working the trade/tourism angle and drawing a distinction between the Kurdish region and the more "war-torn" sections of Iraq. This is part of the difference that everyone who flew in Northern Watch made possible:

There was a great article about a month ago in a Time or Newsweek about what a success the northern part of Iraq was and how Americans are not only loved and embraced, but they are begging the US to build a base there. Unlikely to happen though for politcal reasons with Iran.
