Leave, liberty, etc. during OCS...

My wife would like a realistic picture of when she will be able to see me during OCS (something more informative than "Not much"). After the first four weeks you have the opportunity to get off base. How does that work? Is it overnight? If so, when are you req'd to return? When should you return? Or do you bunk at OCS and get time during the day? Any help would be appreciated.

no time off first 4 weeks. if you secure your 4th week, then you will get liberty a little on Friday night (have to be back by 0100), and then on Saturday, you will get liberty from some odd time in the afternoon until 1600 on Sunday. hope that helps.
